Over the weekend, we tried out his new baby pool. He was a little hesitant at first, and the inflatable slide stinks, but at least he can have fun trying to climb up it, even if it doesn't really work for him to slide down. The video is a little boring in the beginning, sorry about that. At the end you see him patting his stomach. That's his way of asking for help. He wanted me to help him climb up the slide.

Foam pit fun!
Quinn is enjoying his class at Rolly Pollies! in just 3 weeks he has gotten a lot better at navigating the soft mats, walking on the trampoline, and maneuvering in the foam pit. He is close to climbing up to the slide in the bounce house by himself (something I have trouble with myself). He is also improving in following directions and cooperating in a group. We both have a lot of fun!

Summertime!
I mean, the kid is totally noshing.
I found a cute little ear of corn in our bag from the farm stand, so he got his very own cob tonight, and here's how it went down:
I think he likes it.

Rolly Pollies
We are taking a break from swim lessons for the summer, and going to Rolly Pollies instead. Rolly Pollies is a gym with all sorts of fun stuff for kids, including a foam pit and a bounce house. Quinn's PT suggested that we go to help further his physical development. I think it's also helpful to have him follow directions and work in a group, since he has trouble staying on task and sitting still. It was interesting being the mom of "that" kid--you know, the kid who throws a tantrum when you don't let him do what he wants. At least his tantrums are short-lived (he can't even stay on task with a tantrum). Here are a few pics of his first day.

A bed-time game
Here's a great little game to play with your little one to get them all riled up right before bed. Quinn is such a great sleeper that he's really not affected by all the ruckus. It's just great fun! You may want to turn down your volume prior to viewing the video.

Too cool for school
Quinn loves his daycare, and so do I! He cries when I leave him anywhere else, but when I drop him off at daycare, he immediately starts waving goodbye to me. I think he really enjoys being with other kids, and of course there are plenty of toys and activities. I love that my daycare provider's whole family is involved with the kids, and I know that they love Quinn almost as much as I do. I also love that he goes outside twice a day, and that she sends me pictures of Quinn every day that he is there. Here are a few from today for you to enjoy. Note that he and his buddy are wearing the same exact outfit!
