Yesterday we visited some religious sites in Washington DC. First we visited the Franciscan Monastery, where we had a tour and explored the grounds. After that, we went to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. This is the largest catholic church in America/Canada. Both places had very interesting artwork, particularly the mosaics at the Basilica. Quinn got to have his picture taken with the Pope at the Monastery.
