Annemarie Sculpture Garden

We had a great day yesterday at Annemarie Sculpture Garden in Solomons, MD.  We had another picnic there, and enjoyed plenty of interesting artwork.  One of their exhibits was "Fairies in the Garden,"  where they had small, fairy houses hidden throughout the walking path.  It was fun to look for them and admire their differences.  My favorite was the "Tower of Tara," which was a round house that had three doors, all with arrows pointing to the next one stating "Please use next door."  Quinn didn't really enjoy dressing up as a fairy, though I enjoyed taking the pictures.  He did enjoy the play area, where he could go inside the houses, make music, and draw designs in the sand on the floor of the houses (who knew pine cones made such neat designs in the sand?  OK, I'm sure my mom knew that).  We also stopped in Solomon's Island, where we walked the boardwalk and toured an old oyster factory.
